I absolutely adore this band!!
Luke won my heart pretty much from the onset. He has the protector vibe that makes you fall in love with him. And of course, he's the lead singer which is just HOT!!
Love Lenny...a strong, kick-ass kinda chick. Trying to escape her life, she becomes the band's assistant, hiding who she really is from everyone.
I love that there was a slow flow to their story. There wasn't the quick jump in to the physical relationship like you find with a lot of romance novels. It began with friendship and proceeded from there. That was refreshing.
Now the other band members I just love. Mike, I just wanted to sit down and cuddle with on the couch and watch "Singing in the Rain" with. Sway, oh Sway. He is just too much and funny as heck. Harrison is like that cute little brother that says the cutest stuff...just don't ask him to come up with insults...lol Blake...another big brother willing to go to bat for his family. These guys made me wanna be on the road with them, on the bus just hanging out.
Over all, the story is AMAZING!! My only complaint...and it's a small one, was I wanted a longer epilogue...lol I am one of those people. But that doesn't detract from the greatness of the book. Looking forward to this series.

This book is amazing. The characters are developed in such away that you feel like they are real and I the room with you. The story flows unbelievably well, and several times I thought oh here is where she's ending komodo find another page. I is book 1 so the author used the time to explain who each person was without dumbing down the story. I can't wait to read the other books and find out what happens next. If you don't read this book you will kick yourself later. It is an awesome story!
When I first learned about the premise of the story, I was immediately enthralled. Then, I began reading it as a beta reader, and again once it came out as an eBook. It’s such a fun read! Five guys + Lenny + mischief - Ashton/Cody/Shane = a hilarious and heartfelt ride as readers get to partake in the backstage life of Double Blind Study and the Olympic snowboarding queen, Lenny. One gets sucked in to Heidi’s writing, and all the antics of the guys of DBS immediately make one wish they had brothers or guy friends to just goof around with. The antics plus the deep sides to Lenny and Luke woven together created a wonderful debut for this author! It’s no wonder she’s doing well as an indie!

LTF feels almost like there are three parts to the book. The first is the band and being on tour, the second is Lenny rediscovering her passion and following her story, the third containing the solidification of the love story. All throughout, Heidi masters the skill of multiple people dialoguing - which is a rare gift indeed.

P.S. - I still drink my coffee like Lenny, too… slamming it down then getting to work! ) And Mike - oh I love Mike
Lenny is the best! She just forgot how totally awesome she really is. But she’ll fake it til she makes it.

Double Blind Study is soooo cool. I wish books came with a soundtrack. I’d be all on this.

Luke the lead of DBS is you typical front man. Who can resist? Obviously Lenny...sometimes, or at least she tries.

Great book can’t wait to learn about the rest of the guys.
I didn't do an actual tally but I'm pretty sure there were 258 characters in this book. I'm all for different approaches but holy cow that was a lot of names to keep track of. Plus, Luke and Duke? Really? I know another word that rhymes puke.

There were so many glimmering moments with this book, but too much weird for me to appreciate the beauty. What is the subgenre of this anyway? Sports, alpha, rock star, billionaire, etc? Too much crap was happening!

And let me just say that I love snowboarding. There isn't much like it. However, the author had some weird moments with snowboarding word usage/descriptors
I was hooked nearly from the beginning - could not put it down. A romance book is like a roller coaster. You know when you board that the car is going to pull into the HEA station. It's the spins, loops, peaks and drops that make the ride. This book had all of those! There was amazing tension. I can not believe I did not discover this author sooner! It was an amazing emotional ride! I would recommend to anyone who shares my reading preferences. As soon as I finished I moved onto book 2 in the series.
